Our Dance Classes

Focusing on The Skills, Not the Frills

The Dance Programs at The Fit Physique are unlike any other. We do not have a big, showy, recital. Instead, we hold a very beautiful, very intimate performance at the end of our dance year in our spacious studio- usually in May before everyone gets too busy with end-of-school schedules. There are no recital or costume fees - only a fun, quality demonstration of everything the student has learned. The dancer still gets the experience of performing, without all the cost and fuss of the typical recital. We offer classes for both adults and children. In fact, our adult classes have become so popular, we now have the largest adult dance program in Western New York!

Ballet
(Ages 5 and Up)
Ballet is a fun way to develop strength,  flexibility, self-esteem, and confidence. This is an essential course for the well-rounded dancer.
Tap
(Ages 5 to Adult)
An audible dance form, tap is effective in stimulating a sense of rhythm and beat. A wonderful way to develop motor skills.
Tots Tap
(Ages 3 and 4)
For the young dancer just starting out! Develops basic motor coordination skills and musicality in a fun, playful atmosphere.
Mommy & Me Tap
(Ages 2 1/2 - 4)
Is your child a born dancer, but still in need of an adult loved one’s comforting presence? Mommy and Me Tap class is a fun way to bond with your child and to foster his/her love of dance.
Jazz
(Ages Child to Adult)
A free style of dance which involves stretch, isolations, and combinations influenced by the contemporary dances of today.
Hip Hop
(Adult)
Learn the coolest steps, dance to the hottest music, and get in shape at the same time! One of our newest programs, Hip Hop is perfect for those that like to sweat to the beat!
